The party kicked off with Tonca's annual weigh-in and medical exam in the newly ronnovated Hixon Native Plant Courtyard. He weighed an impressive 160.6 pounds. Tonca was also found to be in good health, which is good because alligator snapping turtles can live to be 80-years-old in captivity.
