St. Augustine, Fla. -- The Tripp Harrison art gallery in downtown St. Augustine had water rushing through it Wednesday after the sprinkler system malfunctioned.

Water poured down the walls and windows and onto the artwork. The artist -- Tripp Harrison -- said he lost many of his paintings.

The fire department worked to try to save some of the artwork.

Harrison said this is the 7th time the building has flooded in 7 years. He said it's unclear if the new pipes are faulty or if they were improperly installed.
