JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have identified a man who was killed by an Amtrak train on Thursday while riding a bicycle at around 7:25 p.m.
Sean Christopher Pearson, 31, was riding a bicycle near train tracks at 6800 Trout River Boulevard.
Pearson was struck by the train and was located nearby, according to a release from Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Shannon Hartley.
Pearson was pronounced dead at the scene, Hartley said. The death was ruled as accidental.
