JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in solving a murder that happened Monday evening.
Police responded to reports of shots fired around 10:10 p.m. at 2700 Moncrief Road. When they arrived, they found Lawrence O'Brien Johnson, 34, laying in the street. He was bleeding and unresponsive, according to a news release from JSO Public Information Officer Shannon Hartley.
Johnson was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital.
