JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Small businesses can have consumers right where they want them-in the palm of their hands.
According to a new survey by Jacksonville's Web.com, only 26 percent of small businesses have a smart phone friendly website. Even fewer have a mobile-only site.
Of the 500 businesses surveyed, 84 percent reported seeing more business because of mobile marketing.
Most business owners said the biggest roadblocks to having a mobile site are time and money.
But according to Google, mobile may be worth the investment. Of people who searched for a business online, 1 in 5 made a purchase from that business.
