JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A person of interest in the killing of a 61-year-old woman on the Northside Monday is in jail, but is not charged in connection with the death.

Paula Francis Milam was found in her home on Galway Avenue Monday morning by her daughter.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, foul play is suspected in Milam's death.

This morning, JSO announced that someone currently in jail on unrelated charges is a person of interest in the murder, but they did not release the person's identity.

Investigators believe the person of interest and the victim were acquainted.

Further details have not been released as the investigation is ongoing.
