World Golf Village Hosting Putting Championship

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- If you think you can read a green better than anyone else, three upcoming weekends will let you prove it.

The World Golf Hall of Fame's eighth annual Putting Championship begins March 19.

Qualifying rounds will be held the weekends 19-20 and 26-27, and the winner will be determined on April 2.

Anyone can enter. 

For amateurs, there is a $35 entry fee that includes a gift bag, a practice round on the putting course, lunch, admission to the World Golf Hall of Fame and other benefits.

Prizes for the best putters will include golf at Dye's Valley at TPC Sawgrass and both World Golf Village courses, a stay at the Renaissance World Golf Village, passes to the 2011 PLAYERS Championship and many other golf-related treats.

The course is 18 holes of real grass, and meets USGA and GCSAA specifications.
