The story of Carolyn Bucca is all too familiar to all too many. A vibrant, successful and happy 56-year-old woman who was brave enough to share her struggle with breast cancer with the First Coast.
Carolyn died Friday after the cancer, started in her breast, spread and metastasized to her bones.
We first met Carolyn last October and she gave us the privilege of joining her journey as she courageously battled cancer. She shared with us her fears and her hopes her hopes and allowed us to be there as she checked experiences off of her bucket list.
You may remember our Janny Rodriguez helped make her number one wish come true, meeting Tim Tebow last month. Her motto was “Let go, let God.”
Our goal in sharing Carolyn’s story with you, is to inspire action whether it be signing up for the Donna Marathon to finish breast cancer, or taking part in Buddy Check 12.
