Jax Beach Police asking for public's help identifying grand theft suspect

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Beach Police are asking the public's for assistance in identifying a suspect from a grand theft case at a LensCrafters on February 23.

According to a release from police, the man pictured walked into the LensCrafters at 2526 3rd St. at around 5 p.m. 

Employees became suspicious when the man walked out without speaking to anyone. Surveillance footage showed that the suspect took 44 pairs of glasses from displays around the store, and put them into his pockets before leaving.

The suspect was seen leading in a dull-black two door Sedan, possibly a Lexus or an Infinity.
