  • M-Line

M-Line First Coast News is partnering with the local non-profit Susan G. Komen Foundation to raise Buddy Bucks to make sure every woman on the First Coast gets a mammogram, even if she can't afford one or she doesn't know where to turn. (They're the Race for the Cure folks.) The money will pay for the hotline and, the more funds we get, the more free mammograms we can offer through Komen grants to local facilities. Trained professionals at Komen will man the hotline to guide women to existing free mammogram programs and, if cancer is found, to surgery and treatment programs for the underserved. We will follow the women to make sure they get help.
