FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. -- There will be a slight traffic delay in the area around Baptist Medical Center Nassau on Friday as the hospital conducts a mass casualty drill.
The drill will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Agencies participating in the drill include the Florida Department of Health, Nassau County Sheriff's Office, Nassau County Fire and Rescue and Nassau County Emergency Management.
Passersby will be able to see activity outside the hospital during the drill.
According to a release from Baptist, the drill is being held "to better prepare all of the agencies involved in the case of a true emergency."
