JACKSONVILLE, FL -- RV City is open. It's a tradition for many Georgia and Florida fans. They set up a home away from home in a big lot not far from Jacksonville Muncipal Stadium.

This is part of the fun leading up to the Georgia/Florida game.

Many fans and their RVs arrived in downtown Jacksonville Monday. RV City opened Wednesday morning. Of course, those who stay there were ready for the fun.

Tommy Watson, a Bulldogs fan, has been coming to the River City off and on since the 1970s. "It's the largest cocktail party in the world. And some people come for the football game."

Watson loves hanging out at RV City. He will be there on game day. He had four tickets in the Terrace Suites, but gave them away.

Fans who stay in RV City are dedicated. They cook. They laugh. They usually have something going on at all hours.

Many return year after year. The fans know where to park. They really get into the team spirit. The RVs are decked out in black and red or orange and blue.

Some come from far away. Others, like Terri Boree, don't travel far. Boree lives in Jacksonville. The Georgia/Florida weekend has always been big for her. She has been coming to the games since she was a teenager. She has made RV City her home for a few days out of the year, for the last ten years.

Boree, a Gators fan, hangs out with a group known as the Champagne Gators. She told First Coast News, "Every year my husband and I say we are not coming back. But here we are."
