Commissioner Craig Lutz says members will be meeting with emergency responders on Wednesday to discuss options for making the lake safer.
Two boys died when a fishing boat collided with a pontoon boat last month. Two more children were badly injured last week when a personal watercraft hit a tube on which they were being pulled across the water.
Lutz says it's up to officials from multiple agencies to improve safety on the popular lake northeast of Atlanta.
