Glynn County drop-off locations for Hermine debris

GLYNN COUNTY,  Ga. -- There are two public drop off sites where people on the First Coast can drop off their Hermine debris.

  • 550 Young Lane, Brunswick, GA 31520
  • Demere Rd., Saint Simons Island, GA 31522, near the farmer's market by the airport

Operations will resume Tuesday, September 6 after Labor Day. It's open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on the weekend.

An average truck load of debris costs $13. Items allowed for disposal: yard debris, household appliances, bulky items, metal and construction debris. Items residents can't bring: hazardous material, paint, car batteries, dead animals, refrigerators, freezers or air conditioners.
