DESTIN, Fla. (AP) -- The body recovered this morning from the Gulf of Mexico is believed to be that of a missing Georgia fisherman. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission investigators say it may be 46-year-old Dennis Herring of Riverdale, Georgia. But they are awaiting results from an autopsy for confirmation.

The crew of a Conservation Commission aircraft spotted the body 23 miles south of Destin. A Coast Guard helicopter crew found the body of 50-year-old Julian Lee of Fayetteville, Georgia, on April eighth.

The day before his 27-foot fishing vessel My Girl Too capsized about three miles off Destin.

Lee and Herring were the only people aboard the vessel.

Preliminary results indicate the boat capsized in heavy seas and that neither man was wearing a life jacket.
