BRUNSWICK, Ga.- A stolen wallet and multiple fraudulent purchases led to an investigation and the arrest of two suspects according to the Brunswick Police Department press release. The victim's wallet went missing May 28 at Marshside Grill.
Detective Roy Blackstock arrested 25-year-old Craigory Powell June 6 on two counts of felony financial transaction fraud. After further investigation, the detective discovered Powell's accomplice, Harry L. Brown, 58.
Brown was found out to have also made unconsented purchases with the victim's credit card, according to the release, and was arrested June 17 and charged with one felony count of financial transaction card fraud.
