DECATUR, Ga. -- Authorities are investigating after a DeKalb County police officer shot a man with a knife.
    
WSB-TV reports that the shooting happened around 8:30 a.m. Sunday in Decatur.
    
Police say two officers, including on in training, were flagged down by a woman who told them about an armed man. Police say the officers approached the man and told him to drop his knife. Police say the man was shot when he moved toward the officers.
    
The man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Police have not released his identity or condition.
