BUFORD, Ga. -- Search crews returned to Lake Lanier Friday morning to continue their search for a 13-year-old Buford boy, but said they were planning to suspend operations during the weekend because of high boat traffic.

The teenager, Griffin Prince, has been missing since late Monday when authorities say a fishing boat rammed the pontoon boat that he was aboard, killing his 9-year-old brother Jake Prince.

Boats with sonar technology are searching an area between Lake Lanier Islands and the Buford Dam, though they do not know the exact spot where the collision occurred.

Hall County sheriff's Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks tells The Gwinnett Daily Post (http://bit.ly/NYYkSQ) that searchers would be in the lake Friday but planned to suspend the operation over the weekend because high boat traffic in the area will create dangerous conditions.
