WESTON, Fla. -- No one was injured when a small plane landed on a dirt road in Broward County.
A sheriff's office press release says the pilot was the only person on the single-engine plane that landed on an access road near U.S. Highway 27. The pilot, who wasn't injured, told deputies he experienced a mechanical issue and landed safely on the road.
Broward Sheriff's Office says there are no fluids or hazards inherent to this landing. Fire-rescue was not dispatched.
