TALLAHASSEE, FL - Families of missing children gathered at Florida's capitol for a ceremony to remember and honor the state's missing children.

Trenton Ducket, Tiffany Sessions and Jennifer Kesse are only a few of Florida's many missing children.

"Sometimes you feel like there's no hope left, but you have to keep going, because if you don't, who's going to be looking after your child?" Hilary Sessions said of her daughter.

One by one families of missing persons placed a single rose next to their loved one's picture.

Drew and Joyce Kesse spoke to First Coast News after the ceremony.

"I was focusing on Jennifer."

"And we were talking to her during the ceremony and just looking at her picture and talking to her and just reassuring her that she knows she's loved and that we're never going to give up."

It's the not giving up hope and not knowing these families share.

"We just want a hug. We just want to hold her hand and tell her we love her," said Joyce Kesse.

"Hopefully, Lord willing, we'll have a miracle."
