Ice Cream Truck Hits New Port Richey Boy

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL (AP) -- A six-year-old boy has been run over by an ice cream truck in New Port Richey. The Florida Highway Patrol had no report on his condition after he was flown to Bayfront Medical Center.

Investigators say Jack Fitch grabbed a door handle on the truck and ran beside it before falling under a rear wheel. The FHP says the truck driver will not face charges.
