PALATKA, Fla. -- A man who was shot at a Palatka home has been arrested.
Tromell J. Camps, 28, is being held without bond on charges of attempted first degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Camps allegedly arrived at a home on the 400 block of Bay Street April 12 armed with two handguns, according to a release form the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
When a resident of the home answered the door, an altercation occurred and Camps allegedly shot at the resident, the release detailed. The resident was not hit.
The occupant of the home allegedly then shot camps multiple times. At this point, there are no charges pending against the resident, according to the PCSO.
The reason for the altercation and the relationship between the two individuals is under investigation.
