OVIEDO, Fla. (FLORIDA TODAY) -- The
body of a Melbourne High School graduate was found floating in about six feet
of water in a Seminole County lake at about 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officials said the body of
Jason M. Cobb, who was missing since Dec. 26, showed no signs of trauma.
The
disappearance of Cobb, 30, and Charles T. Jackson, 26, was reported to
police when the two men didn't return home from a boating trip on Lake
Jesup.
They left Lemon Bluff at about 5:30 p.m. and drove to Black
Hammock fish camp. They left the camp at about 1:30 a.m. to head back to
the bluff, but hadn't been seen since.
A friend found their empty
boat -- a 15-foot Bass Tracker -- about 12 hours later, three-quarters of a
mile north of the fish camp.
FWC officers and Seminole County and
Volusia County deputies scoured the lake in hopes of finding the men.
Additionally, hundreds of friends and family of the men organized their
own searches.
Investigators suspect the men were somehow thrown from
the boat. There were two life jackets, two paddles and keys to their
truck onboard.
According to Cobb's Facebook social media page, he
graduated from Melbourne High in 2001. He was employed by Seminole
County schools. Jackson graduated from Oviedo High and works at Guardian
Equipment, according to his Facebook page.
Rescuers will continue to search for Jackson.
