WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- Polk County Sheriff's officials say 36 men have been arrested during a 10-day undercover investigation called Operation Cyber Child.

Sheriff Grady Judd plans an 11 a.m. briefing Monday to discuss the operation that concluded Sunday.

Officials say the men were charged with traveling to meet juveniles and other crimes. Those arrested include a fifth grade public school teacher and a registered sex offender.

A sheriff's office press release says detectives posed as children in fictitious ads and profiles they posted on various websites. Numerous men responded to the ads and then chatted with juveniles online, texted them and even talked on the phone with the detectives who were posing as children.

The sheriff's office worked with a number of agencies during the 10 day operation.
