SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A motorcyclist continued riding after colliding with a pedestrian, causing serious injuries, and hasn't been caught yet.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol incident report, at about 7:50 p.m. Monday on Highway 129 just south of Interstate 10 the motorcycle was northbound on 129 when it struck a 58-year-old woman who was crossing the street.
The woman's foot was dislocated in the collision, according to the FHP, and she was taken to Shands Gainesville for treatment.
The motorcycle continued northbound, but the FHP isn't sure if the driver stayed on 129 or got onto I-10.
