JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Our Teacher of the Week teaches third grade at Crystal Springs Elementary.
Suzanne Tatham taught first grade for several years. This is her first year teaching third-graders and she said she loves teaching this age.
She uses music and songs in her classroom to help students learn. A parent nominated Tatham for Teacher of the Week because she said she's an amazing teacher and the students love her.
"She works with me a lot. I understand her. She makes it so easy for me to understand," said third-grader Justin Vanderburg.
Tatham is also the school's Teacher of the Year. She feels she's doing what she is meant to do - teaching children.
"I was moved to third grade and I've fallen in love with this age. We're able to do a lot of different things and activities."
