JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Four armed robbery suspects ran off on foot after the actions of one woman during the robbery.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office incident report, the robbery happened at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Kozy Korner store at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and 9th Street.

The store clerk said two males with masks covering their faces walked into the store and demanded money from the cash register as one of the suspects pointed a gun at her head.

She said as she opened the register one of the suspects jumped onto the counter and started removing the money.

As that was happening, the clerk said the other suspect came around to the register area and demanded that she open another register.

One of the suspects then dropped his gun on the counter, so the clerk said she grabbed it and pointed it at the suspects.

Though the gun didn't fire, one of the suspects uttered an expletive and both fled the store.

A witness told police he saw the two suspects leave the store and meet up with two others who appeared to be acting as lookouts.  He last saw all four of them running east on 9th Street.

The suspects all remain at large.  If you know anything that can help find them, call our partner First Coast Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS (8477).  You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
