First
Coast News is proud to be the official station for fighting crime
on the First Coast. We are partnering with First
Coast Crime Stoppers, Inc., to launch a weekly news segment and
web page that will feature unsolved crimes and show you how watching
First Coast News will make your neighborhood safer.
The program's mission is to receive information anonymously and pay
rewards to viewers of up to $1000 for tips that lead to arrests. Crime
Stoppers began in Albuquerque, NM in 1976 and boasts an average conviction
rate of 95% on cases solved by Crime Stoppers’ tips.
Watch First Coast News each week for a new unsolved crime and for
updates on past stories. Then use the tip line 1-866-845-8477
to help solve crime and keep First Coast neighborhoods safe.
