Teen, three accomplices charged in Palm Coast home burglary

PALM COAST, Fla. -- A teen and three accomplices were arrested Sunday in connection with a home burglary.

Devon Burney and Tammarick Asbell, both 20, along with Tyrell Williams, 19 and a 16-year old are facing charges of burglary to a dwelling following a burglary to a home on Pine Brook Drive in Palm Coast. The burglary occurred Sunday afternoon, according to a release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Neighbors called police after allegedly seeing the four suspects running between houses. Additional calls placed two suspects walking in the area, while the other two were allegedly seen going into a home in Pine Bush Lane.

Deputies caught the two suspects on foot and established a perimeter around the home the other suspects were allegedly inside of. Both suspects exited the home without incident, according to the release.

Deputies later learned one of the suspects lived in the home they were ordered out of. According to the FCSO, all items items stolen from the Pine Brook Drive home, including a 9 mm handgun, two tablet computers, an iPad, an X-Box, credit cards, cash and jewelry, were recovered. Deputies also recovered a shotgun and a 9mm handgun that were reported stolen from a different home on Wellwater Drive in January 2012.

"All of the witnesses who called us in this case did a terrific job, they each saw something that they felt wasn't right and called and provided us with crucial information that enabled us to take all of the suspect into custody and put them behind bars," said Flagler County Sheriff James L. Manfre.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
