Teen injred in drive-by shooting in Moncrief Park

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police responded to a reported aggravated battery in the Moncrief Park area.

What they found was a 16 year old who had been shot twice -- once in the hand and once in the leg. The injuries were non-life threatening.

The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Pearce Street shortly before 2:45 p.m., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The suspects, who fired the shots from what was described as a "white vehicle" left the scene after the shooting.

According to JSO, there is no description of the suspect or suspects.
