Police: Victim points rifle at man approaching vehicle, suspect steals gun and runs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office needs the public's help in locating a robbery suspect from February 23. 

According to police, a victim was approached by an unknown suspect at the BP located at 289 Normandy Boulevard at around 5:36 p.m. Police say the suspect was yelling at the victim and began approaching his vehicle.

According to police, the victim pulled out a rifle and pointed it at the suspect. Police say the suspect grabbed the barrel and snatched the rifle from the victim and then fled the area.
