Police seek woman accused of ID theft

Police hope a selfie will help them find a woman suspected of identity theft.

Police say Tanya Monique Peel stole the identity of a Charles Schwab account holder and then used the information to steal $123,000 from the victim's account.

Investigators say she then transferred the money into a fake business account she opened at a JP Morgan Chase Bank in Atlanta. She reportedly withdrew funds from several Chase Bank locations.

Police say Peel's last known address was in Raleigh, North Carolina. They're offering a $2,000 reward in the case.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers tip line at 404-577-TIPS.
