Police officer's home broken into, dog and guns stolen

A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office officer's home was broken into while he was at work and his truck, dog and guns were taken, authorities say.

Other things were also taken from the officer's Murray Hill home. The dog's name is Hemingway and he appears to be a pitbull mix.

Investigators found blood at the scene and do not know what happened.
