Police identify man shot on the Westside Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are trying to piece together exactly what happened after a man was found shot early Saturday morning on the Westside.

Officers were called to the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and Interstate 295 about 2 a.m. on reports of shots fired, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

David Henry Barwick, 33, was found with gunshot wounds. He was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where he was pronounced dead, the Sheriff's Office said.

Police do not have a suspect at this time.
