Meth lab found, suspect in custody

SATSUMA, Fla. -- A 23-year-old man is facing charges after deputies served a narcotics search warrant Feb. 20.

After an undercover investigation, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 130 block of Palmland Avenue, according to the PCSO.

A resident of the home was arrested and charged with synthetic narcotics selling. Cory Frank Smith allegedly sold undercover detectives Methamphetamine, according to the release.

Numerous items used in the manufacture and use of Methamphetamine were found in and around the residence. Smith, who was not at the residence when the search warrant was executed, was taken into custody Saturday.

Smith is currently being held in the Putnam County Jail on $10,000 bond.
