Man jailed for sexually assaulting teen, tattooing her

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A 45-year-old man is behind bars, facing charges of lewd or lascivious behavior and a misdemeanor for allegedly tattooing a minor without parental consent.

Raymond Randolph Lopez is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in May 2014, according to the St. johns County Sheriff's Office. The 14-year old victim claims to have received a "Friend Request" from the suspect on a social media site in which she accepted.

Lopez then allegedly offered to give teen a tattoo and she agreed and went to his home, the release detailed.

While the teen was at Lopez's home, he allegedly became aggressive and sexually assaulted the teen after giving her a tattoo. Lopez was arrested Tuesday at his home in the 200 block of Dondanville Road. According to the release Lopez was released from prison in January for two convictions of two counts of battery and possession of a controlled substance.

Lopez is currently being held on a $5,500 bond in the St. Johns County Jail.
