Local woman arrested for Medicaid fraud

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A Jacksonville woman was arrested and charged with a third-degree felony for Medicaid fraud.

After an investigation by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, officials discovered, Ashley Vyktoria Tullon, 27, billed Medicaid for services they say she never performed.

Pam Bondi's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit began its investigation after receiving information from another Medicaid provider, as well as the Agency for Persons with Disabilities.

Tullon was taken into custody by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

Tullon faces up to five years in prison and up to $10,500 in fines and restitution.
