Line skipping argument turns violent at Lowe's

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A line skipping argument at a Lowe's home improvement store turned violent.

Autumn Glick, 32, who allegedly slapped and kicked a person during the argument Thursdayz was arrested and charged with battery Monday.

The incident occurred at a Lowe's in Cape Coral March 20. According to the Cape Coral Police Department, a verbal confrontation over cutting in line at a loading area near the garden center turned ugly. During the confrontation Glick allegedly cursed at the victim before jumping into the back of their truck and throwing bags of mulch onto the ground, according to CCPD.

Glick also allegedly slapped and kicked the victim and left the scene before police arrived, according to CCPD.

Cellphone video helped police identify Glick as the suspect.

Officers went to Glick's home Monday and took her into custody without incident. She was transported to Cape Coral Police Department for processing then later to Lee County Jail.

Glick is charged with battery on a person older than 65 years of age, a felony.
