JSO: Suspects still at large in house party shootings

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday the arrests of two adults in separate house parties that resulted in three people shot, two of them fatally.

The arrests made thus far were not related to the shootings, but to providing alcohol to minors, according to JSO Director Tom Hackney.

The house parties were about three weeks apart and had at least 100 people in attendance. One of the incidents took place in the 2800 block of Coachman Lakes Drive on April 21 and the other in the 3000 block of Kline Road on March 29.

The Coachman Lakes Dr. incident resulted in a 16-year-old wounded and the death of 19-year-old Willie L. Johnson. The Kline Road incident resulted in the death of a 34-year-old Dustin Minarik.

Both women are charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Hackney said the suspects in both the shootings are still at large at this time.
