Dollar General robbery suspect sought by police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police responded to a robbery at a Westside business Friday morning after a man armed with a knife demanded cash.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, an unknown suspect entered the Dollar General store in the 6300 block of 103rd Street at 10:47 a.m. The suspect followed an employee to the cash counter and demanded money while pointing a knife at her.

The suspect fled with cash from the business in a silver Toyota extended cab pick-up truck.

The suspect is described as a male, in his forties, who was wearing a baseball cap, white tee shirt and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.
