CVS robbery suspect wanted by JSO

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a CVS store at knifepoint Wednesday morning.

According to a release from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the suspect entered the CVS in the 7700 block of Blanding Boulevard around 11: 30 a.m., walked behind the counter and tried to pry the cash register open. A cashier confronted the suspect and he allegedly pointed the knife towards her. The cashier called a manager over and the suspect demanded money from the register.

After receiving cash, the suspect fled the business on foot, according to the release. The suspect is described as a male between 5-feet-5 inches tall to 5-feet-7 inches tall weighing between 120 to 140 pounds.
