Kangaroo robbery suspect took cash, cigarettes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking an unknown suspect who robbed a Kangaroo gas station on Sunday morning.

Police were dispatched to the station, located at 4856 Park Avenue, around 8:20 a.m., according to JSO Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda.

The suspect initially entered the station to use the restroom and then he walked out. After all other customers left, he walked back into the store, displayed a knife and demanded the money in the register. The suspect also took a pack of cigarettes.

The man is described as a white male with a black eye and a scab over his left eyebrow, 35 to 40 years old, 150-170 pounds, 5'7" to 5'8", short brown hair, unshaven and wearing a black and white hoodie.
