Grand theft charges for no delivery of custom cycles

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A St. Johns County man was charged Wednesday with five counts each of grand theft and organized scheme to defraud.

Mark Douglas Blanton, 37, was reportedly operating a business, Knock 46 Custom Cycles, where he allegedly entered contracts to purchase and customize motorcycles from at least five people between October 2012 and November 2013.

According to a St. Johns County Sheriff's Office press release, the victims made payments between $20,000 and $40,000. The victims reported that they did not receive the motorcycles or their money back when requested.

Additional charges are pending further investigation.
