Gas pump skimmers sought in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS, Fla.—Deputies are asking for the public's assistance to find the two suspects involved after credit card skimmers were reportedly installed back in August at the Pilot Travel Center on County Road 210 just off Interstate 95 in St. Johns.

Financial crimes detectives with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office say that on Aug. 26 at 8:45 p.m., two male suspects can be seen installing the device after arriving to the gas station in a white Ford cargo van with no distinctive features.

The suspect in the attached photo is a while male, possibly Hispanic or of European decent, between 30 and 35 years of age, 185 lbs. with short dark hair. There is no image of the other man, but deputies say he has similar features.
