Drugs, guns found at home in Starke; 3 arrested

STARKE, Fla. -- Three men were arrested after a cache of drugs and guns were found during the execution of a search warrant at a home in the 1000 block of North Thompson Street on Friday morning.

According to a release from the Starke Police Department, several guns and drugs were found, including:

-Marijuana
-Crack cocaine
-Paraphernalia
-Stungun
-A 9 mm semi-automatic handgun
-A single-barreled 12 gauge shot gun
-A .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun
-Ammunition

The three men face the following charges, the release detailed:

-Nesaw B. Merriweather, 20; resisting an officer without violence.

-Amos Brenard Merriweather, 24; possession of drug equipment, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of a short-barreled shotgun.

-Kenneth Arnett Merriweather, 26; felony violation of probation, resisting an officer without violence, possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
