ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A body found during the search for a teen reported missing from Orange County has been identified as belonging to missing 16-year-old Alexandra Chery, an autopsy has confirmed.

Deputies have arrested Sanel Saint Simon, Chery's mother's boyfriend. He's charged with lying to investigators and attempting to destroy evidence, deputies said.

Chery's bedroom was found stripped bare. Her bedding along with most of her belongings were gone, deputies said.

Investigators said Alexandria's mother came home from work on Monday night and found blood in her daughter's room and men's underwear soaked in bleach underneath her bed.
