Beam Street shooting victim identified

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One man was killed and another was hospitalized after a shooting on the Northside late Monday night.

Police responded to the 10100 block of Beam Street around midnight and found two men with gunshot wounds, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Ronald James Morris, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other unidentified victim was transported to UF Health Jacksonville in stable condition.
