Armed robbery suspects sought in St. Johns County

HASTINGS, Fla. -- Two armed robbery suspects are wanted in St. Johns County.

Deputies responded to what was initially reported as a stabbing early Tuesday morning just before 2:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East St. Johns Avenue in Hastings, according to a release from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

After further investigation, deputies determined the 32-year-old victim was robbed by two males and beat with a gun.

The suspects were described as two men. One was wearing dark pants, a dark shirt, and some type of mask to cover his face during the alleged robbery, according to the release.

The victim was transported to Flagler Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and later released.

The suspects were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
