Duval County will spray for mosquitoes over residential and rural areas

Following St. Johns and Miami-Dade counties spraying for mosquitoes, Duval County announced Wednesday they would be following suit in several areas around the county. 

The spraying is planned for the following dates: Oct 20-25. 

These areas include places in Bayard and Bartram Park, Julington Creek, Loretto, Mandarin and North Oceanway.

The target area for Bayard and Bartram Park is north to Big Davis Creek, east to SR 9B  and Phillips Highway, south to Race Track Road and west to I-95. Please refer to the box in the map below for the general flight region. Please remember that all flights are weather permitting. Check this site daily for updates.

The target area for Julington Creek is north to I-295, east to Julington Creek, south to Julington Creek and west to Hood Landing Road. A map of the general flight region is not available at this time. Please remember that all flights are weather permitting. Check this site daily for updates.

The target area for Loretto is north to I-295, east to Hood Landing Road, south to Julington Creek and west to San Jose Boulevard. A map for the general flight region  is not available at this time. Please remember that all flights are weather permitting. Check this site daily for updates.

The target area for Mandarin is north to I-295, east to San Jose Boulevard, south to Julington Creek and west to the St. John's River. A  map for the general flight region is not available at this time. Please remember that all flights are weather permitting. Check this site daily for updates.

The target area for North Oceanway is north to Ed Johnson Road, east to Cape Drive East, south to Duval Station Road and west to Main Street. Planned Neighborhood Spraying

Mosquito Control typically sprays areas in Jacksonville between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Starting mid-April, crews will be dispatched around Jacksonville to fog for adult-biting mosquitoes. We typically do not list the areas we are planning to fog by truck, but check out our Ground Fogging page to see if we have sprayed your neighborhood recently.
