Columbia County Sheriff's Office found Colorado woman safe

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- The Columbia County Sheriff's Office found a previously missing woman safe. However they are still looking for the vehicle she was driving.

Sandra Jammaron, 53, arrived in Florida on Thursday, Sept. 8. She landed in Tampa and rented a 2016 white Jeep Compass with a Georgia tag BKV4578 and drove to Sarasota. She stayed in Sarasota until Thursday Sept. 15 when she began driving back to Tampa at 9:30 a.m. to catch her flight to Colorado at 1:45 p.m.

Jammaron did not make her flight or return her vehicle. Her husband tracked her iPhone to a location on I-75 at the 431 mile marker on Nash Road in Columbia County. When authorities responded, they found her purse with her license and her credit cards along the side of I-75.

If you have seen her vehicle, please contact Detective Marszalek at 386-758-1095 or CCSO at 386-719-2005.
